Professional Background:
Mario started his aviation career with TAP-Air Portugal in 1976 after completing his basic training with OGMA-Civil Aeronautic Academy Center. In 1984 Mario, joined Nationair Canada as their Aircraft Maintenance Manager responsible for B747 and DC-8 aircraft line maintenance, and out station ACMI operations in Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia.
In 1989, he established IASA with its base in Indonesia employing approximately 100 LAME's and an AMO with full responsibility of the following airlines: Merpati Airline wide body aircraft, Transmile Airline aircraft in Indonesia, Silk Air, Royal Brunei Airlines, Indopelita and Sempati.
In 1999, Mario moved IASA's Head Office to Perth, Australia, and today, IASA employs more than 125 personnel working at more than 20 aircraft maintenance line stations throughout Asia and Australia, assisting airlines such as UPS, FedEx, Qantas, Polar Air, Atlas Air, Evergreen, and Tiger Airways.

Mr. Tom Beamon

Professional Background:
Tom has been in the Aviation Industry since 1968, working on variety of aircraft from UH-1 helicopters through to B747 aircraft. Over the years his work has taken him to many parts of the world, and including work on special project such as the Manager of the Haj Maintenance Program in the early 1990's whilst living in Indonesia.
Since 2001, Tom has been in the position of Maintenance Director with IASA, managing the day to day operations of a diversed work force working in 10 countries and at more than 20 line stations in Asia and Australia.

Mr. Kevin Evans

Quality Assurance Manager - Asia

Bachelor of Aviation Studies; Associate Auditor; CASA (Aust) Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Professional Background:
Kevin started his aviation career with the Royal Australian Air Force in 1978. In 1990, he joined Qantas where he obtained his CASA Australian AME licence. In 2000, Kevin was accepted as an Associate Auditor with QSA International, and in May 2004 graduated as a Bachelor of Aviation Studies from the Universty of Western Sydney in Australia majoring in Aviation Maintenance Human Factors.
Kevin has been employed with IASA since August 2004 as IASA's Quality Assurance Manager, controlling the Quality and Aviation Regulatory side of IASA's operations through out Asia and Australia.

Mr. Ivan Pearson

Professional Background:
Havining completed an Aeronautical Apprenticeship he was formally a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with a major international airline. After completing a comprehensive structured Quality Management training program, he has approximately nineteen years within various industry Quality Management roles with extensive hands-on experience ensuring organisations maintain ISO accreditation, modifying existing quality management systems and introducing new ISO Management systems for civilian and defence applications. He was recently employed by CASA as an Air Safety Auditor gaining significant experience in a regulatory role.
Ivan joined IASA in April 2008 and is based in Sydney, Australia. He is responsible for all quality management systems and related issued for all IASA Australian Line Maintenance Stations.

Mr. Roderick Jenkins

Professional Background:
Rick started his aviation career with Qantas Airways as an apprentice aircraft maintenance engineer in 1976. By the time Rick departed Qantas in 1989 he had reached the level of Senior Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
From 1994 till 2006 Rick worked with UPS Airlines in positions as a Line Maintenance Supervisor, B747 Major Maintenance Supervisior, and B747/B767 Fleet Maintenance Controller.
Leaving UPS Airlines in 2006, Rick moved to Turbomeca Australasia for 1 year employed as their Quality Improvement Engineer before joining IASA, where today Rick is employed in the role of IASA's Maintenance Manager based in Sydney Australia.

Mr. Iosefo Tapusoa

Professional Background:
Iosefo Tapuosa graduated B,Com/LLB in coporate, competition, industrial law and management science and operations from Auckland University in 1997 In 1998, he completed his legal exams and was admitted as a barrister and solictor. His legal exposure includes litigation, competition and contract law in the telecommunications field. Over the last 10 years he has held senior management positions in the areas of legal and compliance, business development, marketing, change management and finance in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and education industries.
Iosefo joined IASA in February 2008 and is based in Perth, Western Australia. He is responsible for legal, compliance, contracts and human resource for IASA's global operations.
